Yes, a haggis is a Scottish dish made from offal and cooked in the animal stomach (and is very delicious!) however there are many children and mythology books that suggest haggis are small furry creatures that run around the glens but are rarely seen.... as neither of my girls had come across a Grey-legged dourourcouli before but are aware of the legend of the Wild Haggis - my youngest put 2 and 2 together and came up with her most logical answer! She will never live it down ;-)
