Chester Zoo Game

No, no and no, sorry.

Think harder about the wording. Why did I choose the words I used? Which ones should you take on face value and which are more figurative? Why was it important to tell you about the size of these creatures?

Go the way of the smallest animals, to the tsavo aviary or to the butterflies, both contain species large in numbers and smaller than the elephants for sure.

Actually it could be the Indian Rhinos. On my last visit I could see them from the other side of the elephant paddock.

No and no.
I was hoping someone would have realised that these animals are not close to the Indian elephants. Neither are they particularly near to the zoo entrance - but going on a journey would be an easy mistake to make.

Short-eared Elephant Shrew because they're held near the giraffes and the collective noun for giraffes is journey and they're close to the elephants in name as elephant shrews but much smaller.

Laughing Dove is getting a tiny bit warmer - but he would have been much hotter last year. Water Dragon is still stone cold.

The elephant nosed fish they use to be kept in the giraffe house but have moved since, much smaller than an elephant for sure, however I've a feeling i am way off

That or perhaps the kotsavo chilid as they are held in that tank currently

aha! the other elephant in the zoo then; have the elephant-nose fish perhaps gone on show in the aquarium? are they perhaps close to a smaller fish species, perhaps some emperor tetra, Nematobrycon palmeri, who's species name could be linked to the Palmers, medieval pilgrims who went on a journey to the holy land?

If you look for us at the zoo, you don't need to go on a journey, just look near the elephants (but we're much smaller than they are).
Water Dragon wins by a short head from Charlie S who was heading in the right direction (and I was doing my recycling).
They are the butterfly barbs, which are in the same tank as the elephant-nosed fish in the Aquarium. They used to be next to the elephant shrews in the Secret World, together with some lamp-eyes.
And of course it would be a mistake to look for them in the Butterfly Journey (remember that there are no Houses at Chester Zoo). I suggest that Brother Swampy goes on a pilgrimage to the Aquarium, it's very good and the butterfly barbs are very beautiful.

Yes!! Got there in the end. :):) I guess that means that I have to set one now. It is probably either completely obvious or really tough:

This royal sits on no throne.
