Looking back through pictures of New York I found out that I misidentified a wren as a winter wren, when it actually wasn't that species. While I was busy checking some birds anyways I decided to go over all of my New York pictures and ID'd another small brown passerine, as well.

BIRDS:
284) House wren, Troglodytes aedon
285) Orange-crowned warbler, Leiothlypis celata

One more from a quick outing to Darley Dale yesterday:

216. Hawfinch - Coccothraustes coccothraustes

Will be very surprised if that's not the last new one for the year.

A visit to a wintery Lauterbrunnen and Muerren did not yield any ibex but it did give

411. Yellow-billed chough
412. Golden eagle

Within two weeks penguins will be added and Chlidonias surplaced at the top of the mammal ranking :p

The birds will follow later but I would be able to add about 70 and counting. The mammals from the Falklands ans southern Chile are more important for the moment though.

85. Patagonian sea lion
86. Southern elephant seal
87. Orca
88. Guanaco
89. Culpeo
90. Humboldt's hog-nosed skunk
91. Hairy armadillo

The final update will follow mid-January.

Ah, but *which* hairy armadillo? :P

I move to strike that one from the record due to imprecision!
