Zoos with good reptile collections

In Japan there is iZoo which has kept and bred rare species which are not found anywhere else in Japan such as earles monitors and fiji banded iguanas. This place is not Jaza accredited if you believe that accreditation makes one place better than another. This video can give an idea about the place.

Also among all the zoos I have been in Japan Tennoji and Ueno had the best diversity of species and cage aesthetics.

Is that the zoo that not much time ago kept marine iguanas?

Quick math reveals that Wroclaw beats Reptile Gardens (234 is more than 225).
Largest reptile zoo

Maybe somebody should pass to the management at Wroclaw Zoo that they qualify to the Guinness Book of Records? However, Wroclaw may be more interested in making publicity on conservation.

They got a good collection of turtles, Batagurs and Fly Rivers for example. They got nice crocodilians, like Gharial. And also, some nice lizards, like Fiji Banded Iguana.

Theres a reptile zoo in Toronto named Reptilia,, haven't been there, but you could try. Normally, reptile zoos have a lot of reptiles, hence the name. Cincinnati has quite the impressive side of reptiles.

I have been, but it was quite a long time ago. I remember that they had a decent collection of reptiles, but not an amazing one. It’s really a place that you only need to visit once.

I would add Saint Louis to this list as well. Los Angeles has fewer species but makes up for it with a very diverse and unusual collection.
St. Louis you bet! Been there too! Solid collection, rare answer usual vipers. Was there during heavy thunder storm snakes were all moving about. Totally was only person in building.
