Interesting/Little Known introduced populations

I think they have found a couple of nile crocs, my understanding not a population

I seem to remember hearing they found quite a few, though I don't remember where I read that. A couple crocs could easily start a small population...

Wrong on both accounts; the Peak District population died off some time ago now (the final two females were last seen in 2003 and 2009 respectively, and the last male before the turn of the century) and there has never been a feral population on the Isle of Wight. I believe you intended to say the Isle of Man, which does have a substantial population.

There is also a large population in the Scottish Highlands, on the shores of Loch Lomond and two of the larger islands within the loch, along with smaller populations in Devon and Bedfordshire.
Wallabies were released by a Duke of Bedford, in Bedfordshire, UK., possibly in the late 1940's or early 1950's. I believe that these were the Tasmanian red-necked species, Bennett's. Several other species were released by him but I do not know if any others survived; possibly some deer are still there.

Its possible you are thinking of the American Crocodile, whose populations are growing rapidly in S. Florida

Hippos in Texas ! ( from Facebook ) :

Say Hello to our newest invasive species!

4 to 6 adult Hippos were spotted in the Rio Grande this weekend and are plans to capture them are on the way by Texas authorities. It’s thought that they escaped from a captive group housed in Zapatas Mexico further down river. These are likely relatives to the "wild" hippos of Colombia that are the result of Pablo Escobar's private zoo gone wild.

It would be cool to have wild hippos in America though, no need to go to Africa!
