Five days, actually! Mostly spent birding throughout the various mountains, forests, and other landscapes on the island, with one morning of whale-watching and of course a day in Loro Parque. Got basically all the wild highlights I was looking for, missing out on only 2 or 3 bird species I realistically could have gotten that I won't get anywhere else. It's definitely a fantastic place, if you get away from the touristic areas!

Nice! How did you see the hammerhead? Was it from the surface during the whale-watching?
