The zoo from hell

My mother had a Tasmanian Devil petting experience and I don't see a reason for call it "hellish". (At Tasmania Zoo Tasmania Zoo - Riverside, TAS - Animal Encounters )

Tame devils are lovely little things. Like cuddly kittens. Not anything like the Warner Brothers one.

For sure, a wild one would do if caught... My mother prefaired the wombat petting, tough. Ummm I envy her, hahaha

Hmmm, I don't want to get too depressing, but my nightmare zoo already exists, all around the world; zoos where animals are crammed in small, barren cages, like a chimpanzee living in a cage the size of a fridge, or a seal in a bathtub. And where people are incentivized to bother animals with sticks, stones and noise, noise, NOISE!

I'm not afraid of snakes, rats, spiders, or any other animal... Except for humans who don't use their brain.

1. walk-through army ant exhibit.
2. hug a cassowary (the cassowaries are kept angry).
3. a rare species complex with only species that are rare in captivity - and are all off-exhibit.

Who wouldn't want to hug a cassowary?

They're usually on-show, but they always end up off-show for different reasons when you visit.

I thought of some more exhibits for my zoo from hell.

6: canoe ride through hippo exhibit
7: swim with the crocodiles exhibit
8: antivenin exhibit (get bitten by a venomous snake and hope that the antivenin works)
9: camel reverse feeding station (instead of you giving them food, they spit food on you)

I would add one thing to number 8. Getting billed for the antivenin after the experience, because of how insanely expensive antivenin is.

Piranha swimming exhibit with Orinoco crocodiles plus Lowland tapirs for pyschological warfare. Add several thousad mosquitoes.

Walk-through chimps or bonobos
Definitely the pigeon aviary, they've taken over my apartment complex
Walk-through jungle with lots of loose, angry snakes, cassowary, tons of bugs
Lots of bugs in general
A zoo filled with exhibits that make little children scream with excitement/terror
All primates
A long with poor exhibits in general, ones that aren't cleaned often so are filled with poop
Nocturnal exhibit with hundreds of loose bats and insects
