Because this statistic is heavily skewed by people who post relatively infrequently, this data only considers people who have posted at least 137 times, which gives us the top 10% of posters. 509 members qualified for this list (out of 5097 users who have posted, and these users have created 88.8% of all posts).

The ranking is calculated using the formula: [likes * LN(posts) / posts], which effectively gives greater weight to users who have made more posts and minimises the impact of infrequent posters who drop "clangers" and thus get a disproportionately high amount of likes.

It is easier to get more likes from fewer posts than it is to get proportionally the same likes from more posts - for example: 200 likes from 100 posts is much easier to achieve than 2000 likes from 1000 posts, even though they have the same like-to-post ratio.

I'm surprised I'm 8th here. I wonder why.....

The avatar change stats aren't terribly accurate.

If you upload multiple avatars on the same day trying to find the right one, or making edits to the one you have - they will all count as multiple changes.

Ideally, I'd do some programming to discount multiple changes in a single day or something like that.
