I think they were just kind of desperate to include the song in somewhere, after having it ousted from the first three movies. To be honest I'm glad they got rid of it altogether, it's not the worst but you're right it doesn't really fit.
Actually the most hilarious is Draco's face. He's like yeah, yeah whatever. And the headmistress of Beauxbaton's looking strangely at them all.
