According to ZTL, Zlin-Lesna received 1.2 Northern screamer (Chauna chavaria). Does anyone know where they got them from?

They came last year from Colombia (see the quote).
 
I would like to know if the zoo will succeed to import 1,1 jaguars from Brazil or not. Their new exhibit should open in spring 2020 and still no animals in sight. Maybe the zoo wil just source animals from Europe and be done with it.

On the other hand, if there is a zoo capable to of doing it, it's Zlin.
 
On April 6th, some turtles were born. I don't know which specie so here is a photo.

The new outdoor exhibit for elephants is finished and Elephants are now slowly getting to know it...

The zoo is now waiting on the decision if they'll be allowed to continue with the construction of the new Elephant barn, or if they will have to postpone it. The City council should inform them in June.
