I received some new bird feeders ready for lockdown and finally got round to putting them up. I have since seen two new species:

34. European goldfinch Carduelis carduelis
35. Eurasian collared dove Streptopelia decaocto

I have also seen three new mammals, the first one in the garden and the other two in the field behind the garden:

3. Reeve's muntjac Muntiacus reevesi
4. Eastern grey squirrel Sciurus carolinensis
5. Red fox Vulpes vulpes

Also, while I was moving the dustbin I store the birdfood in up the garden, I found my first invertebrate of the year hiding underneath it:

1. Brown centipede Lithobius forficatus

Between yesterday and today, I saw two nice birds in front of my house, in spite of the bad wheather we are having here in Naples during these days.

While going to the supermarket I made a short detour to Island Bay at the south coast of Wellington to see if I could spot the Reef Heron which lives around there. That I could not, but there were a number of gannets flying around offshore instead.

Just a random road that Leads to Rush City Minnesota, My Dad works there.
Honestly I don't pay much attention of where or which road I'm riding on, I'm not an expert on roads or maps so I'm afraid I cant be of much help.

They are Apparently seen Farther south than the Canadian border during the Winter According to Minnesota DNR.

But again, strange to see them that far south.

That's WAY further south than normal, I am somewhat doubtful.

That does sound like a Great Gray, otherwise Short-eared has yellow eyes as well. If it is a Great Gray it is unusually far south and should be reported into eBird, preferably with photos if you have any.
