Are These in Captivity? #2

Wildwood in WI, Toledo, Olympic Game Farm, and Steve Martin's Working Wildlife are the ones I have noted as claiming to have Kodiak.

Where did you see bears labelled as Kodiak ? Curious about the Bengals, in the US there might be a few roadside zoos calling their zoomix tigers Bengals but I've never seen any in Europe.

With Bengals, it's not just a few roadside zoos - the majority of non-AZA zoos that don't have Amur claim to have Bengal.

Does Aquamarine Fukushima still have their juvenile Sailfish? Billfish in general never seem to last long.

Are there any horned parakeets in the US?

I do know for a fact that they are kept at the San Diego Zoo’s Aviary Trail, since I saw one on my most recent trip back in July 2020. I don’t know if any other zoo keeps them though.

Far as I know only San Diego has them in the US. I'm not aware of any privately held birds here either, though I know there are private birds in Europe.

Thanks:), I believe ZOOM erlebniswelt’s bears are labelled as kodiak judging from the gallery (I’ve never been myself so couldn’t confirm).
A quick look at ZTL will tell you that ZOOM now keeps Kamchatka brown bears. Their last Kodiak brown bear died in 2014.
Currently, the only European zoo that keeps Kodiak (1.0., to be precise) is the bear park of Orsa Grönklitt in Sweden.

Well, there are no other bears in Europe that are labelled as Kodiak bears (except for the one in Sweden), so I'd say none are in Europe or even in Russia as ZTL includes Russia.

When I was a very young child, in the late 1950s / early 1960s, Kodiak bears were kept in the old Lubetkin Gorilla House at London Zoo. Kodiak bears were also kept at Whipsnade Zoo, in what was originally the tiger pit, until the 1980s. I've also seen Kodiak bears at Duisburg Zoo although it is many years since I last saw one.

The bears at Toledo and Wildwood are siblings that came from the wild from Kodiak Island, so they for sure have pure Kodiak.

Are white-breasted, black, or plumed guineafowl kept in any zoos? I only know of helmeted, crested, and vulturine guineas in captivity.

Does anyone know which Martes-species are currently kept in the USA and how common they are?

Extremely uncommon :( 1 holder of american marten (possibly one other), 5 holders of pine marten (at least 1 is behind the scenes). 4 of those are in the dakotas and montana, so really out of the way for most people to visit.
