Invertebrates
45. Feather-horned beetle Rhipicera femorata (new Family)

I wish I could include this, but my father saw a Bald Eagle Fly over our house. He is quite the 'outdoorsman' himself, and I definitely take his word for it. He said he could see its feathers were ruffled. I've seen Bald eagles in the wild before, but I am very mad I did not look out the window.

Insect/Invertebrate

7. Varied carpet beetle (Anthrenus verbasci)

This weekend I took a little jaunt down to north Texas and picked up quite a few year species and a couple lifers.
