ZooChat Big Year 2021

Noice^^
But why no Gouldians yet, Mr. Mayor in spe?:p
Haha wet season mate - hard to get around and birds are dispersed far and wide. Had a couple fleeting glimpses of possible juv Gouldians flying past but not enough to be happy with it. They apparently start to show up here in good numbers around the start of April. You'll notice also no Torresian Crows yet...

It was very nice out (60*F), so I went to another nearby park, this time a rather nice prairie.
While I didn't actually ID anything there, I saw a small brown bird (Probably a sparrow) in the grasses, as well as some reddish brown birds that were constantly avoiding me.

However, I still did see a bat and some other things on the drive to and back from there

Birds:
20. Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura)

Mammals:
3. Groundhog/woodchuck (Marmota monax)
