Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

As Planet Zoo has only covered continents from their DLC's up until now. I would like to see them move onto more regional areas or countries to focus on local wildlife. There are so many more species I would like to see get added in the future (fingers crossed). There are also a good few other species from South America, Africa and Australia too.

Here are a couple of examples.

(Madagascar animal pack)
Aye Aye
Black & White Ruffed Lemur
Cocqurel's Sifaka
Fossa
Ring-tailed Mongoose
Radiated Tortoise
Madagascar Day Gecko
Panther Chameleon

(New Guinea animal park)
Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
Dusky Pademelon
Spotted Cuscus
Victoria Crowned Pigeon
Crocodile Monitor
Green Tree Python

i'd like to see species from central america such as: Ocelot, northern tamandua anteater, white nosed coati, three toed sloth, military macaw and more animals.

Yes I would also like to see more Central/South American species added in including Spectacled Bear, Capybara, Ocelot, Maned Wolf, Bush Dog, Mara, Southern Pudu, Vicuna, Southern Tamandua, Linne's Two-toed Sloth, Azara's Agouti, South American Coati, Black Howler, Colombian Spider Monkey, Tamarin/Marmosets, other small monkeys, Scarlet Ibis, Macaws, Toucans, Emerald Tree Boa etc.

you know what? they could make animal pack versions of the other dlcs, i think this might be a good idea.

Let's please first get an aviary DLC before moving back to other mammals. If the rumours are true (10-20 birds), that would open so many exciting possibilities. I have a hard time seeing this happen though, I'm hoping I'm wrong.

That said, a South American animal pack with Maned Wolf, Linne's Sloth, Black Howler, Ocelot, Southern Tamandua, Capybara and Spectacled Bear would be much appreciated. I also wouldn't mind switching out the Bear for some other animals, such as the Mara, Vicuna, another monkey or a Coati.

My wishlist for 10 birds:
  • Bald Eagle
  • Snowy Owl
  • Scarlet Ibis
  • Griffon Vulture
  • Marabou Stork
  • Great White Pelican
  • Secretary Bird
  • Red-crowned Crane
  • Kea
  • A Macaw / parrot

Many of the animals you guys listed are available as mods on Nexusmods

True, but I'd much rather have official content. Let Frontier rig and animate animals, let the community reskin them into different animals. Now that we get the North American Beaver, I don't want to pay for the European variant and would much rather download a mod for that purpose.

To each its own, I'd say.

i'd say we would get 20 birds, my wishlist is:
Bald Eagle
Scarlet Macaw
White Stork
Grey Crowned Crane
Great Hornbill
Red Crowned Crane
Kookaburra
Emperor Penguin
Great Horned Owl
Toco Toucan
Griffon Vulture

Southern Kiwi

Yes I do agree that Planet Zoo do need more bird species as there are only about 5-6 currently. I think 20 bird species for a DLC will be a good amount and here is what I would have.

Emu
Eastern Grey Crowned Crane
Wattled Crane
Scarlet Ibis
Roseate Spoonbill
Great Indian Hornbill
Javan Rhinoceros Hornbill
Black Stork
Pink-backed Pelican
Hyacinth Macaw
Blue & Yellow Macaw
Sulphur-crested Cockatoo
Victoria Crowned Pigeon
Secretary Bird
Great Grey Owl (I would like a few more Owl species)
Toco Toucan
Andean Condor
White-backed Vulture
Sunbittern
Caribbean Flamingo

there just 6 bird species.

I'm guessing the aviary pack will be entirely enclosed habitat animals so your flighted birds and bats. It will be interesting to see how they balance smaller say parrot size aviaries against larger raptor enclosures. Potentially they will all be large with free flight walk through options.

bats would be very interesting.

I still remember the flying fox exhibit at Singapore zoo making quite an impression. Might be a challenging rig to create though?

Yeah, I figure that when the continents are covered (Europe is the only one left to go, assuming they make a Europe pack. Will be weird if they don't) they're probably going to shift to more specific regions for DLC themes. I'd definitely be hyped for Central America! Some kind of island themed one would be great too, since islands have such unique ecosystems. Maybe a Galapagos theme, or a Polynesia theme. China or Central Asia could be cool.

But I do wonder if they're going to diverge from the geography theme. A lot of people are predicting an aviary pack, which would be great. I also think that an Endangered Species pack would be cool, and really well-received. They'd be able to include some popularly requested animals, and have a good mix of popular and obscure wildlife. Depending on how many DLC packs they're willing to release, I think a Small Animals one would be fun. They could have small habitat animals and more exhibit species. I just really want a black-footed ferret, lol.

I also figure that we're mostly going to get animal packs from now on. A lot of major building themes have already been covered, or are at least doable with the parts available.

China or Central Asia could be cool.
Why should there be an Chinese DLC? We already have very many Chinese and Central Asian animals such as giant pandas, snow leopards, Formosan black bears, Chinese pangolins, red pandas, camels and more+very many Chinese building objects. Although maybe a Himalayan DLC would be cool. We already have snow leopards and red pandas for the Himalayas, but I would love to have takins or Buddhist style building objects.

Realistically I think after the North America pack, we will get a Europe pack and then Frontier will stop working on PZ.
