Hahaha I only have to look at the bins outside to see Red Foxes!Maybe the Red Foxes, Raccoon Dogs, Nine-banded Armadillos and the Warthogs for me.
I talk only about the sights in zoos.Hahaha I only have to look at the bins outside to see Red Foxes!
Platypus are 100% not a common zoo animal unless you're from Australia.Platypus for me.
What country are you in, out if interest?Saltwater Crocodile, Jaguar, Reindeer.
I'm from the U.S. and unfortunately don't live near zoos that have these, and my family and I haven't traveled near a place that has these. What country are you in, out if interest?
Reindeer are so common in the UK some people keep them just to hire out as part of a Christmas attraction.
It's really surprising some of the species mentioned-I thought they were ubiquitous.
I note nobody has said meerkat yet.....
Sichuan Takin. They're at numerous facilities, just haven't seen one yet.
I wouldn't say Nilgai are that common, certainly not in the UK, although I saw them in the 1970s at Marwell.
My most unsuccessful spot is Hippo. Even in collections that hold them, they were no shows on the day. Plenty of Pygmy Hippos, though.
Red Kangaroo would be the other, but plenty of Grey though.
