Has anyone seen Ares recently? I've just noticed YWP's facebook page posted a few days ago celebrating their 'birthday' (I think it was actually the arrival day), 5 of the lions were named but no mention of Ares.

Maybe they just missed him out.

I believe she has a few genetic related health issues

I thought it was just that she was well represented. A member of staff told me a couple of years ago that she may be more likely to get a breeding recommendation than Tschuna due to other related births.

What on Earth is a Sayan, a Kazakh folk tune or a camel or something else altogether? Please at least mention species instead of in riddles on an open forum. Thanks.

I do wonder if it makes some posters feel special if they think they are on first name terms with animals that no one else with a more general interest could possibly know....

Sayan is a tiger. You only need to check back one page to find that out, as I've just done. As the thread is only 2 pages long, its quite understandable/permissible just to refer to the name and not the species just a few posts later on, I think.

Cetaceans I presume. Or possibly a complex showcasing the Amazon in all its biodiversity. Certainly nothing to do with animatronics, fossils and digs pits.
