The zoo has completely overhauled their website recently. It looks significantly more appealing than it did before.

Huge improvement! They actually have individual pages for their animals now!
I really like the new website
I don't like that they don't have the list of all the species anymore, though.

They don’t have King Penguins. I think the real question is where the heck are the Rockhoppers?
I was just recently there and saw some! They are still there.

Not only do the scimitar-horned oryx gave outdoor access now, but six male prairie dogs have settled in as well.

I guess AZA zoos are able to transport them across state borders! That is good.

So... I think I may have solved the mystery of the closed ape observation deck.
When I first visited the zoo back in August 2021, the deck was closed and the glass for the outdoor gorilla viewing was barricaded. I asked a staff member and she said that one of the bachelor silverbacks (Hodari, no doubt) has anxiety. I can't believe it took me so long to put two and two together...

That’s been a problem since we got the one male gorilla, however they’ve done a rotation on taking the bachelor group on and off exhibit. Though since covid we have been barred to go on the deck. Not sure if it’s due to that or there’s something else. Though I do think in part it’s due to the anxiety of the one male gorilla, that wouldn’t explain all of it.
That can't be the whole picture, it doesn't explain the lack of Bonobos going outdoors.

Wait, the Bonobos haven’t been outside?
I believe the bonobos have outdoor off-show holding areas, so, hopefully, they can at least go out there!

The bonobos have been outside in their current outdoor exhibit that they have. However again we have been blocked from going out on the deck to see them outside. Though if you take the train you could see them in their exhibit.
DeBrazza's monkeys are taking up residence in the old mandrill exhibit soon. They should arrive within the next few months.
