That's excellent news! if only they would actually display some of the rare carnivores the have on a regular basis

I can't find any official news on this. This isn't NDA information is it?
Why would them being visible to the public be NDA? I don't post anything that isn't public, I think my history on here shows that. As @Ituri linked above, the zoo posts on their twitter when animals will be in the vet window.
On March 2nd, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) red panda named Bo from the Red River Zoo in North Dakota which is now on exhibit in the Bamboo Trail. The zoo's previous male, named Rowan, was transferred to the Lincoln Children's Zoo in Nebraska.

On April 13th, it was announced that the zoo acquired a (0.1) southern pudu from the Los Angeles Zoo in California.

Does anyone know female Red Panda Mei-Lee’s original name before they renamed her?
She was born at Milwaukee County Zoo and her full prior/original name was Dr. Lily Parkinson, or "Lily" for short.
You can always ask but they don't do it.
The new Komodo dragon exhibit will open on July 27. It will be the largest of its kind in the US with the goal of exhibiting multiple adult lizards together in the same space.

The new Komodo Dragon exhibit opened up and looks beautiful. They even took images of the new exhibits for us to have a look at!
