I found holdings for several of these in the Tokyo area while researching Japanese zoos recently.hello again, sorry if these species have been asked about before, but are these species held in the US, and if not, anywhere?
any woolly monkey species
mountain tapir
viscacha
culpeo
andean flamingo
andean hairy armadillo
rio mayo titi monkey
painted stork
leopard cat
philippine eagle
draco lizard or flying snake
As noted a few places in the USA hold flying snake. I believe these are all chrysopelea ornata or paradisi. The ones I am aware of (though probably more) are below:draco lizard or flying snake
Brookfield has Ornate. As noted a few places in the USA hold flying snake. I believe these are all chrysopelea ornata or paradisi. The ones I am aware of (though probably more) are below:
California Academy of Sciences (paradisi)
Brookfield Zoo (?)
Children's Aquarium at Fair Park Dallas (paradisi)
Toledo Zoo (paradisi)
Animal World Snake Farm & Zoo (ornata)
Probably some other places in the USA that are more or less private holders or private facilities. Of interest is also that it seems that Toledo had ornata and moved into paradisi at some point around 2018 or so.
In Europe, there are 24 holders of giant otters with a total of about 70 individuals.I know that Mandai River Wonders keeps them, but where else are giant otters kept?

In the US, there are 11 holders of giant otters with a total of just over 30 individuals.
Besides Mandai, there is also Batu Secret Zoo as a holder in Asia. And there are some holders in South America as well.
They are not. In fact, both giant otters at Batu Secret Zoo are from River Wonders.Mandai claims that they are the only holder of the species in Asia.
