The aquarium has acquired lemon sharks recently. They are now on display in Dangerous Lagoon.
Where did you get this info from? Because I don't think this is true given that neither Aquarium of Niagara or Buffalo Zoo keep sand Tiger sharks, so even if the Sandtiger left Ripleys, you got the recieving location wrong.Ripleys had some parasite infection in main tanks. They used copper to treat this, but apparently the Sandtiger was sensitive to copper and needed to leave as well. In Buffalo now.
Unless I reversed it? (I know one went FL & one went Buf as per the keepers)Where did you get this info from? Because I don't think this is true given that neither Aquarium of Niagara or Buffalo Zoo keep sand Tiger sharks, so even if the Sandtiger left Ripleys, you got the recieving location wrong.
Surprised not much info was posted on Ripleys and what has happened recently
One of thier Sawfish suffered an injury. After this started being bullied so was transferred out to Florida location. Other Sawfish went too as they were a pair.

After they removed all the large predators they added Lemon Sharks to fill the gap.

In October there were kids playing downstairs on some sort of submarine-themed playground.Did they ever re-open the touch areas? Used to have a bunch of them downstairs (between kids play areas) but havn't seen them since pre-covid
Also had an area on top floor (just before the ray area) that again seems to have been closed since pre-covid
Hadn't visited since summer so wonder if they are back or had plans to re-open them
