I have just come to learn that I made a second mistake with my Florida tallies (my apologies). It turns out that the 'Silky Sharks' at the Frost Museum of Science were mis-signed, and are actually Sandbar Sharks (Carcharhinus plumbeus). Sorry for the mistake; I'm not a good enough shark IDer to always know when signage is wrong about something like that, and I assumed the signage would be reliable considering they're one of the larger and higher profile species in the museum.
Gorgeous weather for a zoo visit today!Had some time to kill while driving today, so decided to check out this small aquarium I've never been to before. It vastly overperformed my expectations!
