On April 12th, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) Arapawa goats were born on April 6th which are now on exhibit.

On April 16th, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) cotton-top tamarins were born which are now on display in the Sobela Ocean Aquarium.

On April 30th, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) red panda named Benjamin from the Oklahoma City Zoo in Oklahoma which is now on exhibit. The zoo also announced that a (1.0) red panda Randy was transferred to another unspecified AZA facility.

On May 3rd, the zoo announced they would be transferring a (1.0) cheetah named Viserion to another unspecified AZA facility in the near future.

The zoo announced that they moved their burmese python Louise out of the snake house to a larger habitat in the lower level of the Discovery barn. After months of renovating, the snake is on exhibit. This exhibit was the former exhibit of Zack the Prevost’s squirrel, who now resides with Arnie the sloth on the upper level of the Discovery Barn. She is 125 pounds. Here are the updates to the exhibit:

On May 28th, the zoo announced they moved their Madagascar hognose snakes from the African area to the former Burmese python exhibit in the Snake House.
