Can everyone please, please, please stop asking this exact same question over and over again, it is getting really annoying. As far as I know, the zoo's cape vultures aren't world-class celebrities, so please stop asking this. The zoo will probably announce it on socials when it does open.
Why does it matter if people ask a question? Let alone, isn't that a major point of this forum?

Because when a third of this news thread going back to March is just two users repeatedly asking if an exhibit has opened yet, the line between "question" and "spam" starts to blur ;) I think it's safe to say at this point someone will report when it's open!

From my Saturday Visit.

Piece of October 2024 News Worth Mentioning:

Some updates from my visit today:

  • The new male blue-billed curassow is now on exhibit. His mate hasn't yet arrived per what a docent told me.
  • The rhinoceros hornbills and yellow-footed rock wallabies are back on exhibit in their regular space in the Australia section.
  • The ring-tailed lemurs were visible in the larger exhibit adjacent to their temporary home in the former fossa exhibit (I believe they may have access to both spaces). This is the space that was recently home to the cape rock hyrax in the roundhouse across from the zebra exhibit.
  • The giant river otters are back on exhibit in the Rainforest of the Americas. Some slanted plexiglass was added to the top of the glass viewing windows.
