Paradise Wildlife Park Craig busch to visit paradise on saturday 19th december

Is there anything BIAZA can do? some kind of sanctions or anything, it has been mentioned several times on his fan page that he was here on personal business, i have my theories but as they are speculations i hardly think they are relevant.

I do not know, but I assume they can put some pressure on them. However by all statements it seems to be a meet and great and he is not going to be working with any of the animals so I doubt they would have much room to apply pressure.

As long as it stays a meet and great I doubt there is much anyone can do.

It's worth noting that Paradise are not promoting this visit anywhere I can see. There's some mentions on their Facebook page, but these all seem to originate from visitors to the page not the Park. Nothing on their website, nothing on Twitter.

It does seem Mr Busch will be there (and has been there) but Paradise do not seem inclined to draw attention to it.

The only person promoting it would appear to be Mr Busch.

Certainly not, and I agree completely.

However you do have to question why any serious place would allow this to happen at their park? I know they are not promoting it but still they surely cannot agree with his "claims?"

It is promoted on Paradise's 'Events' page of the website.

Then I stand corrected (though I'm sure it wasn't there 2 days ago).

Fair enough - there it is. Not exactly being shouted from the rooftops is it!

I was also really upset that a zoo here in the UK entertain Craig Busch, I dont think it looks good for the zoo at all, obviously they dont mind convicted abusers so long as they are famous and will bring in the money, they sound very like minded to Craig, no wonder they have agreed for him to do this, thick as thieves the lot of them!

While i am dissappointed by PWP's decision to host this event, it is so far only 1 zoo in the whole of the UK, my concern is what if the flood gates now open and the likes of Dartmoor go hang on a minute..... if they are going to do it then sod it we'll host such an event as well.

I notice they are not advertising which conservation charities will be the recipients of any monies raised either, smells decidely fishy to me!!!! There is more to this then meets the eye!!!

Any money raised will just be going towards paying off Craig Busch's huge debts! :D

Well it can't be going to Craig Busch as his 'Big Cat Trust' is not a registered charity, I assume he can't run a charity ??? suppose it saves time not being accountable for every penny donated !!!! :p

Even though I love Paradise as a Park - It looks after its animals really well it isnt really a dig at the animal welfare part of the Zoo but rather at the commercial side. It really does not suprise me that they've done this not at all they always have more of a 'money, money' sort of thing to it.

Indeed. I have heard all about what Craig Bush has done and I really hope Paradise dont think he's some sort of 'Lion God'. If any of his methods are used or promoted at the Park I will never visit again.
Its going to get to that stage if they do.

I agree that there is something dodgy going on for sure, he seems to be on a networking mission, i really hope he's not planning to settle over here

I really hope not but unfortunately he seems to be getting on very well with Paradise.
Really hope he doesnt join them or take over their 'Lions to Uganda' Project. If he does join Paradise and work there I will never be able to forgive them because he practices could soon start.

It also seems that he is networking with yorkshire wildlife park and we all know that they are involved with moving the Romanian Lions,
