I think I know where nanoboy got the birthday date from, but I wasn't aware he even frequented that part of the forum. However the only alternative is that he made a search through all of my posts hoping I had mentioned it at some point and that's kind of scary. (Of course he obviously made either a mental or actual note of it in order to create this thread, which also hints at a rather unusual obsession....).
Anyway, thanks very much, it is appreciated and the date is indeed today.
If a particular fossadude thread hadn't been deleted you could have also made known my age as well

So how old are you? I am guessing that you act/feel like 50, but are actually in your mid 30's. 
About a week ago one of your photos showed up randomly at the top of the page for some crocodile park in SE Asia. You mentioned a thread there where you reviewed the park, and you mentioned your birthday there. So, no searching, and no obsession I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint. I do enjoy reading everyone's travel blogs, by the way.
It seemed only fair to out the man who outs everyone else's birthdays. I also enjoy policing the word-police's posts for spelling errors.

it really can! Stand in the street, look down it, and the mountain is right there framed between the shops on either side. It is quite spectacular, especially in winter covered in snow as it is. (I must admit I didn't realise it was Mt. Cook, I just thought it was a random mountain).zooboy28 said:

A birthday thread really is fun, waiting to see how many people have posted since last logged on, so thanks to nanoboy for allowing me the opportunity to experience that. I know some of the people I make birthday threads for don't even realise the thread exists because they don't visit this part of the forum (perhaps because they think it is only for discussion of zoo eateries), and some unfortunately only get a couple of replies, but I'm doubly glad I do it now for those who do get enjoyment from it.

Take a photo of the mountain down the street - that sounds awesome. Oh, and to be specific, please post said photo here or you just might end up in the woods and not see your 39th.
