A quick update. Last night I went outside to shovel (because that's what you have to do to stay on top of things in this weather) and all of a sudden it was snowing sideways. I took that as a sign I ought to go inside.
Wait, snowing sideways isn't normal for you guys? I think that is the only direction it can snow in Michigan.
And what't the winter conditions in Europe at the moment?
Here in Melbourne it has been a relatively mild summer in the sense that we did not have many days over 40C. This is excellent news for anyone that lives in bushfire-prone areas. This weekend will be over 30C on both days which is still too hot for me to be outside. 21C and sunny is ideal for me, or 25C and cloudy.
Am I weird for wanting snow? Not like what the Eastern Seaboard has been having, just a good blanket.
