So How About the Weather....

In Michigan, we had our coldest February on record, with only three days being equal to or above the average temperature. Total, the February average was down over 13 degrees Fahrenheit from normal.

From what I read, the snow in America is melting quite rapidly, and the ice on the Great Lakes is breaking up. What's it like where you are? Melbourne is about 23C at the moment, and will be mostly dry and 28C and 19C over the weekend.

Well, since the East Coast is finally Melting, I can Happily say THE ENDLESS WINTER HAS ENDED! HERE COMES THE SUN DO DO DO DO!

So Bostonians, you have broken the record for the snowiest year ever! Congratulations! 108.6 inches (two and three quarter metres) with more to come!

Boston gets its all-time snowfall record ? but 'there will be no parade' | US news | The Guardian

What? No parade? Dagnabbit! It could be grand spectacle with huskies and penguins and the Yeti could be the grand Marshall.

No spring peepers yet, I suspect they will announce all clear later this year. Then they will all run into the road to get run over.

Is winter over for you? I think summer is over for us. We had a lovely 28C day on Sunday, 25C on Monday, but this week will be sub-20s.

There was some snow last week while I was going around Europe. In the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia there was snow a foot or so deep but that was understandable being in a ski resort. What was unusual though was getting caught in quite a snow storm in Vienna, spring had arrived though because all the flowers etc. were out but the snow fall was a surprise to even the locals.
I am back in Poland now and the weather has completely turned around with blue skys and a fantastic temperature of the high teens to low twentys (degrees C)

We've had some snow but already a fire danger. I'm praying for rain this spring and summer.

I pray you get rain too. I have never dealt with a forest/brush/grass fire and I hope I never have to.

Meanwhile we have peepers (pseudacris crucifer) peeping in CT! Spring has arrived!

Seems cold weather is finally over in San Antonio. I can once again wear cute outfits, and I'm gonna get to work making a mermaid tail I can wear to swim in.
