despite some notable omissions in your photographic record, I suspect you will have a *vast* number of unusual and now-absent species in your archives!One of my aims when at Walsrode next month is to take as many photographs as possible, so that any species held on-display which are lost in the coming years can be accounted for

Pigeon Guillemots are now gone from European collections?! I did not know that, but it's very odd that earlier this year, Living Coasts were listed still having the taxa on Zootierliste.
That would be a simple matter of some tomfool adding the species back on after I removed it

The last one passed away late 2014/early 2015,not sure quite when but they had certainly gone when I visited round June last year!
Sometime in late 2014, as the most recent annual report released showed that the collection no longer kept the species as of 31/12/2014.
I am aware that several species including blue winged leafbirds
(but in small numbers), Senegal kingfishers (with quite good breeding results)
and long-tailed broadbills (3 pairs at least) and I suspect many many others too,
are still present in private collections.
I had for a long time a photograph of a bird, not a really good one as I just started
taking photos, but I saved because I couldn't find out what it was. Turns out, I was a
Sudan Brown babbler!

I actually saw the Arrow-marked Babbler when I visited TP Berlin in 2014, but looking through my photographs I didn't manage to get any worthwhile shots of the species.

There's still a giant amount of birds species that doesn't have photo's on here kept in private aviculture, last year alone I've seen the following species in Europ;
Asian open-billed stork, Allen's gallinule, Elegant quail, Long-tailed broadbill, Guianan red cotinga, purple-breasted cotinga, small minivet, white-headed bulbul(thompsoni), grey-headed bristlebill, gray-bellied bulbul, long-tailed mockingbird, japanese robin, white-tailed rubythroat, white-tailed blue robin, güldenstadt's redstart, red-flanked bluetail, yellow-rumped flycatcher, large niltava, chestnut-breasted wattle-eye, black-headed, African, Asian paradise flycatcher, chestnut-tailed minla, white-eared sibia, arrow-marked babbler, black-headed babbler, black-chinned yuhina, broad-billed roller, little bee-eater, senegal kingfisher, African pygmy kingfisher, greater painted snipe.
