Completely overhaul African area phasing out camels, building immersive savanna featuring giraffes, zebras, antelope and birds, make cemetery out of view, move rhinos into Elephant Encounter, adding a modern lion exhibit, a mixed species exhibit featuring warthogs and bat-eared foxes and a vulture aviary. Retheme the region Hwange.
2. Open Shark Aquarium and crocodile exhibits.

1. Completely overhaul African Veldt making it Chobe Expedition, a massive African elephant exhibit with tons of water and enrichments. Elephants will be viewed through a tunnel that surrounds the visitors with elephants.
2. Tear down Round Barn and build aquarium over it.
3. Open Serengeti exhibit on undeveloped acres with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lechwes, cheetahs, hyenas, Thomson’s gazelles and vervet monkeys. Actually teach the visitors something about the Serengeti in particular rather than just a generic Africa area.
4. Open Australian exhibit.
5. Renovate Primate Canyon.
6. Tear down former penguin, hippo and pelican exhibits. Build new lemur exhibit there.
Nashville Zoo
1. Open Expedition Peru.

Build new white rhinoceros exhibit with lots of wallows and enrichments. Build a hippo exhibit with an underwater viewing. Open brand new lion, wild dog, okapi, bongo, vulture and mongoose exhibits.
2. Open Asian Passage with naturalistic habitats for tigers, orangutans, Komodo dragons, red pandas, babirusas, tapirs, Asian small-clawed otters, anoas, markhors and siamangs/gibbons.
3. Turn current primate building into a state-of-the-art reptile house.
4. Build a new sea lion exhibit near the entrance.
5. Open Red Wolf Woods, featuring the carnivores in a naturalistic habitat.
6. Open new exhibits for jaguars, spider monkeys and giant otters.

Zoo Miami
1. Open Florida: Mission Everglades bringing black bears, cougars, river otters, alligators and crocodiles among others to the zoo.
2. Overhaul most of Asian Loop (keep Children’s Zoo, Wings of Asia and Asian River Life as they are now) and open Monsoon Asia featuring Asian elephants, Indian rhinos, gaurs, Malayan tapirs, bantengs/nilgais/blackbucks and Bactrian camels in rotating habitats as well as a massive watering hole one just for elephants. Also include state-of-the-art habitats for orangutans, sun bears, tigers and gharials. Smaller animals such as anoas, red pandas, siamangs, crested porcupines and striped hyenas will also be featured. Have a strong conservation message to the exhibit. Prominently feature the lake in the complex.
3. Overhaul Australia and turn it into Outback Adventure featuring kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, wombats, echidnas, emus, cassowaries and reptiles in immersive, interactive habitats.
4. Open Madagascar exhibit near the entrance featuring a walkthrough lemur exhibit.
5. Use undeveloped area on property for Gorilla Expedition featuring gorillas, chimpanzees, okapis, nyalas, bongos, Nile hippos, pygmy hippos, dwarf crocodiles, red river hogs, colobus monkeys, mandrills, guenons, leopards and duikers in naturalistic habitats viewed through tunnels.
6. Build a sea lion exhibit near current tiger exhibit.
7. Redevelop Africa so entire left side of the path besides black rhino exhibit is devoted to African elephants. Add lots of watering holes and enrichments to the enlarged elephant exhibit. Transform pygmy hippo exhibit into an African penguin exhibit. Turn current greater kudu/addra gazelle exhibit into a kopje habitat for lions making it seem as if they are in the same habitat as the giraffes, zebras and ostriches. Turn Grevy’s zebra exhibit into an exhibit that rotates between cheetahs and zebras also having the invisible moat effect. Add baboons to former chimpanzee exhibit.
Palm Beach Zoo
1. Open siamang, babirusa and Komodo dragon exhibit next to Tiger Falls.
2. Open new reptile house.
3. Build Chimpanzee Falls between current Goeldi’s monkeys and serval exhibits. Build exhibits for red river hogs, colobus monkeys and duikers next to it.
4. Add red pandas, meerkats and prairie dogs to the collection.
Naples Zoo
1. Build new giraffe, zebra and lion exhibits surrounding Lake Victoria. Add animals such as okapis, warthogs, waterbuck, pygmy hippos, guenons and patas monkeys. Call the area Slice of Africa.
2. Add new red wolf exhibit.
3. Open Maya Trail featuring jaguars, spider monkeys, tamarins, toucans, giant anteaters and ocelots. Make the spider monkey exhibit walkthrough.
4. Open new ratel exhibit.

Central Florida Zoo
1. Open black bear exhibit with deer, coyotes and bobcats nearby.

4. Overhaul hill exhibit for Indian rhinoceros, African crested porcupine and otter exhibits. Tear down Outpost Snack Bar. Build Monkey Village, featuring howler monkeys, lemurs, guenons, tamarins, siamangs and mangabeys in netted naturalistic habitats.
5. Add new prairie dog exhibit.
6. Open Asian Cats exhibit near the snack bear featuring tigers and Amur leopards.
Brevard Zoo
1. Open Australasia renovation with walkthrough kangaroo exhibit, Komodo dragons and redesigned aviaries.
2. Renovate Florida section adding black bears, a new bobcat exhibit, renovated otter habitat, new eagle exhibit and a cougar habitat.
3. Add porcupines, mongooses, greater kudus, colobus monkeys and red river hogs to Expedition Africa.
4. Add Asia loop with tigers, siamang, tapirs, babirusas, Asian small-clawed otters and hornbills.
Lowry Park Zoo
1. Renovate African penguin exhibit.
2. Build brand new cougar exhibit.
3. Open new orangutan/siamang exhibit next to Asian Gardens, featuring the apes in a tall, state-of-the-art habitat.
4. To be ambitious, try mixing in giraffes, zebras and white rhinos in with the African elephants. Give minor renovations to giraffe habitat to make it more naturalistic and add more trees.
5. Open habitats for lions and spotted hyenas in Safari Africa.
6. Overhaul World of Primates and turn it into Congo Forest, featuring gorillas, chimpanzees, mandrills, guenons and colobus monkeys in naturalistic habitats.
7. Add Tropical America with jaguars, giant otters, capybaras, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys and birds.
Busch Gardens
1. Create Serengeti Trail- a path surrounding the entire Serengeti Plain. Most notably, the path will bring into view new habitats for African elephants and black rhinoceros, located in the back of the park. Current Asian elephant exhibit will be closed down and the animals sent to other zoos. The hoofstock now will be able to be viewed up close through watering holes. Eventually perhaps try to mix elephants in with the hoofstock. Have exhibits for warthogs, wild dogs, bongos, mandrills, a kopje habitat and leopards along the way.
2. Add tapirs, langurs and babirusas to Jungala.
3. Open new koala exhibit.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
1. Open Kiliminjaro Trek, featuring up close viewing of African elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and a wide variety of hoofstock, created using new back yards to Kiliminjaro. Include viewing through glass windows for cats and watering holes for the hoofstock. Add giraffe feeding.
2. Expand Maharajah Jungle Trek with exhibits for Asian elephants, orangutans, macaques, sun bears and leopards.
3. Open South America exhibit with jaguars, Andean bears, capybaras, tapirs, howler monkeys, spider monkeys and giant otters.
4. Open new children’s zoo.
Jacksonville Zoo
1. Renovate Plains of East Africa. Dramatically expand African elephant exhibit. To do so knock down the plaza and reptile building as well as the current okapi and zebra exhibits. Have it so exhibit goes all the way up to the boardwalk and the white rhino/hoofstock exhibit. Make the exhibit more immersive and have more realistic backdrops. Try mixing in zebras and impalas with elephants. Also add a Nile hippopotamus exhibit to the area, ideally with an underwater viewing. Add wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, waterbucks and lechwes to the hoofstock yards.
2. Open meerkat exhibit near Giraffe Savanna.
3. Build a new reptile house.
4. Open Sea Lion Shores in area that is now Australia.
5. Expand Land of the Tiger with Indonesian Rainforest exhibit for orangutans, sun bears, Malayan tapirs and langurs.

1. Open new, much larger African elephant exhibit. Put black rhinos in the current elephant exhibit, renovated to be more appropriate for their habitat.
2. Open Carnivores of the Savanna exhibit with lions, hyenas and wild dogs in rotating habitats.
3. Expand African savanna.
4. Renovate orangutan exhibit to allow the apes to be viewed much more closely.
5. Open new lemur, prairie dog and wombat exhibits in the Children’s Zoo.
6. Open George Trails exhibit featuring black bears, cougars, otters, raccoons, deer, red wolves and manatees.

Riverbanks Zoo

Open giant Asian section featuring Cats of the Himalayas (snow leopards, Amur leopards, red pandas, markhors, Patas cats), a massive Indian Grasslands featuring Indian rhinos, gaurs, nilgais, bantengs, blackbucks, muntjacs and other hoofstock, Canopys of the Islands (orangutans, Malayan tapirs, gibbons, siamang, Komodo dragons), an Asian aviary, Macaque Peaks, Riverbed of Giants (a gigantic habitat for Asian elephants) and Forest Trek (tigers.)

Virginia Zoo
1. Open World of Reptiles, a remodeled reptile house.
2. Move white rhino herd into former elephant exhibit.
3. Open Jewels of South America in between Trail of the Tiger and Okavango Delta featuring jaguars, squirrel monkeys, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, guanacos, rheas, vultures, bush dogs and tamarins.
