What the zoo might look like if the City of Toledo donated the land from the South Toledo YMCA demolishion and Woodsdale Park to the zoo.
The masterplan would have to be ammended to include this \'new\' section. Just a thought. What are your thoughts?
Some of you have messaged me and asked how this plan would work. It would all revolve around the City of Toledo selling/donating the park and YMCA property to the Zoo. Woodsdale Avenue would have to close and be re-routed and that would depend on talks with N.S. Railroad. A retaining wall could be built as a noise-barrier as guests would be walking near the traffic of the AWT SB Lane.
