Did you enjoy the roof ecosystem? They have a whole slice of native prairie up there resembling what San Francisco might have looked like before the city (including this building) was built on top of it. Last time I was there they were conducting an insect survey of what critters were using the roof ecosystem.
I did enjoy the roof ecosystem, but it was a drizzly day and thus I did not spend a great deal of time up there due to the wind and rain. The roof is the icing on the half-a-billion-dollar cake that is the new California Academy of Sciences.
