2.7 Acre Black/Kermode Bear Exhibit

I didn't know that there were Kermode Bears in captivity, even in North America.

@Haliaeetus For the past decade, since late 2012, the BC Wildlife Park has had the only Kermode Bear in captivity in the world. For many years 'Clover' had the exhibit to himself, but in the past couple of years another Black Bear ('Tuk') has been sharing the space. I saw both of them together yesterday.

I quite liked this exhibit when I visited. It's nice to see the bears have a large and natural area for themselves.
