When is the 4th aquarium building opening? Will it be attached to any of the existing buildings? On a side note, the entrance fee to this establishment is a whopping $27.50, which seems enormously expensive for a place that is not even AZA-accredited. Was the price substantially increased once the new aquarium section opened a few years ago?
Latest thing I read says 4th building will open November 2011. Yes, price was increased when aquarium opened, although even the old zoo price was a bit high for what you get. (They are a private for-profit corporation, so are ineligible for donations and grants).
I believe the 4th builing will be adjacent to the existing three. They are all next to each other, but you have to walk outside on a short cement path to get from one to another. (Which is not that much fun in the summer in West Phoenix).
