I was surprised to learn that only visitors 5 years old and up are allowed into the walk-through lemur exhibit (the old gibbon enclosure). All 3 of my children would be turned away and they'd be forced to watch their "zoo nerd" father enter without their presence. They'd be aghast!
Here is a series of photos of the walk-through exhibit (including lemur-themed seats):
He missed the hand-washing station. That was the best part. The handle is a trowel and the sink is a series of overhanging fake-bamboo (i think it was bamboo, or logs, or wood, or something) troughs so the water tumbles down after washing. Everything seemed rather crafty and genuine instead of cheesy.
