Wonderful photo of the little known but rarest captive-held species of animal the National Zoo keeps. This guy is the last of his kind here and very old. I wish the zoo did more with him.
She's the last of her species in a Western zoo, what do you think they should do with her? Unfortunately, she did not show herself to me, nor did the macaque when I visited
Still doesn't work the Western Hemisphere is defined as the hemisphere of Earth west of the Greenwich Meridian in London and east of the International Date Line- both Pont-Scorff in France and Fota in the Republic of Ireland hold the species, and meet this requirement.
I'll just go and get my anally-retentive hat and sit in the corner....
I too am glad to hear there are some still back in Europe! I haven't seen or heard about any in ages whenever I travel back. Do you happen to know where some are still?
