I hope the hyenas don’t just hide behind the shelter. The fake tree in the middle of it is the weirdest part to me.

I also wonder if the floor is heated. I know the lion exhibit next-door has a heated rock but I don’t know if this exhibit does.

@ZooElephantsMan The tree in the middle looks much better now than it did before - hopefully they add more detail to the earthbank.

@ZooElephantsMan concern of my too. if they just hide. exposed, unlike wild dog with earth and grass on top. so far away from viewing area. water feature and all. will be nice too see them swim. boulder should be heated. sad, thiugh. nice rock made in gorilla grove and this look like playdough
