It does look nice, but just wait for Dallas! If it's anything like their recent quality then the hippo exhibit will be spectacular (three acres is impressive on its own, but add Dallas's exhibit quality and it'll be one of the best around!)

It won't be three acres. The complex, sure. Just not the hippo exhibit. If it was to be super amazing, then why such a small viewing window (24'x8') for underwater?

I asked the space question specifically, and the zoo confirmed it would be a three acre habitat. The small viewing window is because the pool itself is small- 120,000 gallons if I remember correctly.
Then again, the people I asked could have been misinformed- 3 acres does seem a bit much to hope for.
