This looks spectacular and the backdrop certainly looks like a rugged coastline. Was the wave machine turned on while you were there? I've seen that type of machine working at zoos in Germany and the effect is amazing, with constantly lapping waves like a real ocean.
@snowleopard It certainly is an incredible exhibit. It's a tough call between this, with the great attention to detail and sense of immersion, and St. Louis, with its underwater tunnel and larger size - both are without a doubt the best I've seen. And yes, the wave machine was on, with crashing waves against the rocky shores - really nice touch.
