Strange ... I have visited Aalborg Zoo 1-5 times every year since 1997, and I don't slightly remember them keeping common seals, especially not in the same exhibit as the penguins.
I'm sorry for confusing you; I labelled it as for Common Seal and Penguins since I saw Common Seals there along with penguins in 1986! Somehow I don't seem to have been able to get over that the seals were removed at some point! But I will change the headline now.
PS - I uploaded my 1986 photos last year; you can see seals in it on them.
This exibit has been renovated and extended so that the area to the right is acsessable as a land part for the penguins. whitch makes it so much beter for the penguins.
Very nice picture btw realy nice to see how aalborg zoo used to look
