Aalborg Zoo - African Village (Dwarf mongoose)

The exhibit for dwarf mongooses (Helogale parvula) inside The African Village in Aalborg Zoo. The hollow tree to the right makes up one of the mongooses dens. The mongoose exhibit was added to The African Village in 2008.

The African Village opened in 2006 and is the biggest project in Aalborg Zoo’s history. It features wildlife from the African savannahs and wetlands.
