Aalborg Zoo - African Village (Warthogs)

The family of common warthogs (Phacochoerus africanus) inside The African Village in Aalborg Zoo. The warthogs arrived along with the opening of The African Village and are the only warthogs in Denmark.

The African Village opened in 2006 and is the biggest project in Aalborg Zoo’s history. It features wildlife from the African savannahs and wetlands.
