Aalborg Zoo - African Village

The sign by the entrance to The African Village in Aalborg Zoo. The African Village opened in 2006 and is the biggest project in Aalborg Zoo’s history. It features wildlife from the African savannahs and wetlands. The main purpose of the village was to allow for indoor viewing of the savannah animals and make Aalborg Zoo more of a winter attraction.
