A view into the Carnivore House in Aalborg Zoo. In here are indoor exhibits for Asiatic lions (Panthera leo persica) and Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sumatrae).
The new Carnivore Exhibits opened in 2012, twice doubling the space the big cats have outside. The old house was maintained, expanding the visitor facilities and giving it an Asian theme. The old big cat indoor exhibits remained unchanged except for the old leopard indoor exhibit that was rebuilt to also house tigers.
