An overview of the outdoor elephant exhibit in Aalborg Zoo. In here currently live 0.3 South African elephants (Loxodonta africana africana) that came directly from Africa in 1985. The elephant exhibit although small is well furnished for the small group of elephants.
The Elephant House opened in 1956 and Aalborg Zoo is the only zoo in Denmark to display African elephants.
