A view of the Giraffe House and outdoor yard in Aalborg Zoo. This yard is used only in the winter and normally the giraffes have access to the large savannah exhibit in the daytime. The gate to the left can be opened and fences pulled along the visitor pathway leading the giraffes to and from the savannah.
The giraffes in Aalborg Zoo are rothchilds giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi).
