This is the one the Black Panther escaped from in 1971? They would have added the wire after the escape. It was a hard lession learned and two tensed days for Aalborg citizens while the police was searching for the cat. The panther is now stuffed in a small 'museum' inside the zoo.

^^ i know you cant get close to the cage but i allwas try not to get the lattice when i take pic ^^

Nice why to start your Zoochat experience, not everyone can afford a camera that will get rid of the lattice.

Plus please note that a lot of the photo's on here are about the exhibits and the lattice is an essential part of the photo.

Sorry but what was the first point?

So either you have very long arms or you climb the stand off barrier!

I was just saying that was not a nice comment on a photo that is of the exhibit which the mesh is an important part.

Maybe you could all show us how its done as you seem to consider yourself an expert on it? ;)

lol >_< i didnt mean this pic it was more a over all comment i know he couldn't get any closer with out walk over the barrier but if i really want to i bet i could found out somthing like a mobilephone on a stik and get it to countdown to take pic somthing like that ^^ if i really didnt want the fence on the pic ^^

anyway i know what you mean and sry if i was Rude i didnt mean to

There are a million photos of leopards on the Internet but few of the Aalborg Zoo's leopard exhibit. That fact makes this photo even more important.

Many of us on this forum are serious amateur zoo photographers and put great pride in our photos. Two things that serious amateur zoo photographers do is: 1) use a proper camera; not a mobile phone like a teenager in a night club; 2) respect zoo rules; going close up against fences, especially those of dangerous animals like leopards, is a violation of zoo rules.

Finally we try to give constructive critisism here. Toddy's photo is as good as anyone could ever take, and he is the forum's best authority on Danish zoos, despite young age. Please keep this in mind for the rest of your time here.

hm.. who is given constructive critisism now and beside
i didnt have the money for one.
but i have next month and there i gonna buy a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS and beside that i not gonna say more for it not me feeling the need to defend myself over and out

Edit
Just forget it im tired idk if i read the last post right anyway

Have just come back from Madagascar, so have missed this argument. Just to clarify this is an exhibit photo showing of the exhibit and not the animal so the mesh in this shot is an important part
