The exhibit for six-banded armadillos (Euphractus sexcinctus) inside the Payamino Tropical House in the South American section in Aalborg Zoo. The Payamino House was built in 2004 and is themed as a South American rainforest.
Free-ranging in this house are toco toucans (Ramphastos toco), rose-headed conures (Pyrrhura picta roseifrons) and green iguanas (Iguanas iguanas).
The armadillos arrived in 2004 and have bred several times since then.
