The entrance sign to the Payamino Tropical House in the South American section in Aalborg Zoo. The Payamino House was built in 2004 and is themed as a South American rainforest. The original purpose of the house was to allow visitors to also see the South American animals in the winter.
Inside this house are indoor exhibits for giant anteaters (Myrmecophaga tridactyla), Colombian black spider monkeys (Ateles fusciceps rufiventris) and lowland tapirs (Tapirus terrestris) as well as some other animals.
