A view into the Payamino Tropical House in the South American section in Aalborg Zoo. The Payamino House was built in 2004 and is themed as a South American rainforest. Free-ranging in this house are toco toucans (Ramphastos toco), rose-headed conures (Pyrrhura picta roseifrons) and green iguanas (Iguanas iguanas).

Inside this house are also indoor exhibits for giant anteaters (Myrmecophaga tridactyla), Colombian black spider monkeys (Ateles fusciceps rufiventris) and lowland tapirs (Tapirus terrestris).
